What the phases mean. Concept — An idea in preliminary design; it should be possible, but isn't done yet. Prototype — It works, but it isn't repeatable yet. Field-tested — It's been in the water, perhaps repeatedly, iterating towards a better answer. Beta testing — Ready for people who aren't me to give it a shot. Released — Stable enough that other people can build it and make it go now. Live — Running now, in front of real dives.
